Dear Professors and Colleagues,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 29th Congress of Neurology of Iran which will be held in Tehran from 26-29 July 2022. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years, it was impossible to hold an in-person meeting, and it was carried through online settings. We did our best to organize an in-person congress. We have received more than 100 abstracts ranging from several topics in the fields of Neurology and Neuroscience. In this book, you will find the abstracts of this year’s oral and poster presentations. This Congress is the result of the collaboration of colleagues in the scientific and executive committees of congress and also the Iranian Neurological Association in the last year. I would like to appreciate specially the efforts of Dr. Mohammad Reza Gheini as the congress president. I would also like to especially thank Mr. Hamid Ghasemi and Mrs. Hamideh Ansari for all of their support. Without them, none of this would be possible. And last but not least, I offer my thankfulness to those who have participated in this congress and sent their research papers so graciously to improve the level of our awareness in this field.
